PS3 than X360 in Europe

In Europe, the PlayStation 3 has surpassed Xbox 360 in terms of units sold, but Nintendo remains firmly in first position. As reported by Gamasutra, a study by IDG and quoted from GameStop shows that in December of 2010 the best selling console in Europe were the Nintendo DS with 49 million units and Wii with 24.9 million units.

Third position with 14.8 million PSP consoles sold in the Old World, to follow the PlayStation 3 with 14.7 million. Latest Xbox 360 with 13.7 million. In December 2010, the United States, the ranking of the console was instead the following: 47.3 million DS, Wii 34.2 million, 25.4 million Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PSP 19,000,000 15,400,000.
