2K Games has announced that The Darkness II will be released on October 7th for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. Developed by Digital Extremes and inspired by the series of comic horror / supernatural created by Top Cow Productions, Inc., The Darkness II drops players into a dark and brutal personal journey in the shoes of Jackie Estacado, the protagonist held by The Darkness (The Darkness) old and very dark demonic force that brings chaos and destruction.
The launch trailer is visible below will give a first look at the world of The Darkness II, whose fervent gameplay, which uses Quad-wielding mechanic, allowing players to grab, tear and throw objects and enemies through the demonic arts wielding two weapons at once. The game is divided into levels characterized by the use of darkness and light, from a deep and twisted story and style data from an overwhelming violence from sketches made by hand in black and white, according to the technique used in the comics which inspired the game.
