It was back in 1996 when a Guardian Heroes appeared on the SEGA Saturn. Success was not immediate but in the months following the game, developed by Treasure, earned fed legions of adoring fans. Those same fans now jumping on the chair at the news that a remake of the game will arrive this fall on Xbox Live Arcade with HD graphics, online co-op, Versus mode for up to 12 players and all-new options.
"The players can choose one of the five main characters of Guardian Heroes and guide them through this fascinating and deep action-RPG," said Haruki Satomi, vice president of digital business SEGA. The exact release date will be announced in the coming weeks.
