As reported by Kotaku, Zipper Interactive's 33 employees were fired. According to Sony this is a routine operation that usually occurs following the launch of the headlines of a study, in this case, Socom 4, latest product developed by Zipper. The multiplayer FPS Mag is available since last year, while Socom: Special Forces was released in April on the PlayStation 3.
