But I am quite sure that's not their fault An official press release from Rockstar Games and Sony claims that the problems of overheating of the PlayStation 3 do not depend on LA Noire, nor from firmware 3.61. Rockstar had previously accused the firmware from Sony, saying that the overheating occurred in other games, then having to admit that the Xbox 360 version of LA Noire is subject to some instability.
However, in a statement the two companies also says that people with heat problems are few and that, basically, both do not know how to solve them. At this point one wonders how they can exclude that the overheating is due to one or another if, in practice, admit they have found the cause of the problem.
