The 3.61 firmware for PlayStation 3 would be the basis of global and blockade of different consoles, as stated by Rockstar Games in a message posted on the website of Rockstar. "We have received several reports of overheating of PS3 users from playing with LA Noire, particularly with fat older 60GB and 80GB," it said.
"The cause seems to be the firmware 3.61. There are similar reports about different games, and in all cases the problems were created after installing the 3.61 firmware. A spokesman for Sony told Japan that the company Videogame Source "does not comment on rumor and speculation concerning its products." The 3.61 update was released a few days ago as part of the restoration of the PlayStation Network.
