MS: "WP7 is our handheld"

As reported by Kotaku, during CES in Las Vegas boss Mobile division of Microsoft, Kevin Unangst, called Windows 7 Phone "mobile gaming platform from Microsoft." "The same people who make games that work on Halo, which is in fact our handheld console." At last count, the device has sold 1.5 million units worldwide since its launch last November.

There are 5,500 applications, created by 30 different developers, currently available on the Marketplace. 60 those compatible with Xbox Live. The Microsoft manager said that the company is trying to convince Epic to develop its new mobile platform. During the CES were presented a number of games for Windows 7 Phone, including Fable II: Coin Golf, Game Room, Full House Poker, Pac-Man, Pro Evolution Soccer and Pocket God.
