A three-dimensional remake independent developer Daisuke "Pixel" Amaya and publisher NIS America announced that they have a very special program, a return to Cave Story, the famous action-2D platform recently released on WiiWare. The idea is to take the game and turn it into 3D, apparently maintaining the typical structure but carrying it verbatim in a three-dimensional context.
