According to the Toronto boss of Ubisoft, Jade Raymond, portable games and social games we are making similar "to the Borg." The reason is gaming in the cloud, said Raymond during DICE 2011 at GameSpot. In his view it is an infinite processing capability that manages the data from devices that transform individual and social relations, thereby creating ample opportunities for developers.
"Why do people use video games? Why the feeling of progress is satisfying. Mastering something makes you feel good." Toronto Ubisoft is currently working on Splinter Cell 6 and up another game to be announced based on a license that has been established. And what about the next great new franchise? According to Raymond this is the right time to try something new using the mixture of old and new.
