The new solution for developing Flash-based Scaleform has announced that it will present the latest version of its development solution based on Flash, Scaleform GFX 4.0, during the Game Developers Conference 2011. The software includes a number of new features, including support for Flash 10.1/AS3, and a new engine for rendering multi-threaded, designed to optimize the creation and playback of Flash interfaces and vector graphics.
Scaleform GFX chipset now supports mobile and multi-touch, and includes a kit to optimize mobile UI development platforms iOS, Android and other systems OpenGL. The new version also includes support for 3D, Flash and 3D tools with the possibility of rendering stereoscopic 3D games and Flash interfaces.
The compatibility with Flash 10.1/AS3 allows developers to convert browsers to mobile devices and game consoles by implementing minimal changes. Brendan Iribe, co-founder of Scaleform said that their goal was to create a development platform that was both powerful and versatile, able to adapt to all systems, from PCs to mobile devices.
