Capcom has brought down the prices of the IOS versions of Street Fighter IV, now available on the App Store for only 79 cents. The move has a purpose beneficial and has been made to encourage sales of the game, whose proceeds will be donated to victims of catastrophic earthquakes and tsunamis that hit Japan.
According to Capcom Unity, the offer will go on for a week. In addition to this commendable initiative, Capcom has also donated 100 million yen for charity and has limited use of electricity in the rooms served by companies arcade Tohoku Electric Power and Tokyo Electric Power to conserve precious energy.
