What does it cost to develop a game iOS?

It is generally believed that the smartphone market is expanding rapidly because it allows you to track the success with a relatively small investment. According to figures disclosed by the developer of Flight Control, Firemint, one of the game at low cost is only a myth. The developer told Australian Pocket Full of Megabytes that the development of its latest game, Real Racing 2, Firemint has invested $ 2 million and took 18 months.

In 2009, the Japanese publisher Marvelous revealed that developing a game for Nintendo DS is costing on average $ 500,000, and the product is sold at a price substantially higher than the average price of the games IOS. Of course it is just individual cases, given the number of games available on the App Store from Apple, to get an overview on the broader development costs for iOS would require data from multiple developers.
