Lacked only the official voice that he could not delay too much and in fact here it is: Nintendo has announced that the successor to the Wii will be released in 2012. The confirmation came in the morning and followed a series of announcements by the financial company of Mario and Zelda. "Nintendo Co., Ltd.

has decided to launch in 2012 a new successor to the Wii console, which has reached 86.01 million units sold worldwide," reads the press release. Obviously, no technical detail has been provided, then all the speculation so far outputs remain in the rumor. Confirmed the presentation of "playable" Project Café upcoming E3, to be held in Los Angeles since June 7.

The president Satoru Iwata has meant to his ad, saying that "the new hardware will propose a totally new approach to home console." This does not necessarily mean the inclusion of 3D because according to the same Iwata, "3D TV sets have still not got enough foot."
