The first impressions of Devil May Cry 4 for iPhone

A reduction evil? A week ago we published the first information on the reduction of Devil May Cry 4 for iPhone (whose official title is Devil May Cry 4 Refrain). The game follows the same plot of the console version and reuses various graphic elements, all within ten-stage and eight boss fight.

In the role of Nero, we use our abilities (including the powerful Devil Bringer) to exterminate the hordes of demonic creatures that we face. Dante will be found, and there are rumors that Capcom wants to put it as a playable character via a future update. Devil May Cry 4 Refrain seems to stand for the excellent control system, based entirely on the touch screen.

The usual combination of virtual stick and three buttons (one for jumping, one for sticking with the gun or sword, one to control the Devil Bringer) offers us an interpretation of simplified commands than the original game, capable autonomously detect the distance of the opponents and take action accordingly.

The final experience would seem doomed to "button mashing" as might be expected, but the fluidity of the action makes it all rather exciting. The graphics, which makes excellent use of high resolution with the support of Retinal Display, looks really good and comes close to what we saw on the Xbox 360 and PS3.

There's also the augmentation system based on colored balls, which adds some depth to the gameplay. The boss finally, are huge and very well done. The game will be released later this month. Clearly, we can not wait to get their hands on ... Source: Touch Arcade
