As reported by WinRumours, Microsoft may soon introduce an SDK (Software Development Kit) and drivers for your version of Kinect dedicated to Windows. According to the rumor, then, the move would allow third party developers to create games and programs for official use Kinect by connecting the device to the PC.
Rumors echoed the comments of Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, who at the Consumer Electronics Show had spoken of "formal support" on Kinect PC "at the right time." The motion control could be integrated into Microsoft's next operating system, Windows 8.
