Microsoft: "Xbox 360 is not a console"

As stated by Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, in USA Today, Xbox 360 "is not a game console but a center of entertainment for the whole family." "Xbox is the place where you can meet new people and where you can watch TV. Hulu is coming. Ours is the only system where the player can become the controller: your voice, your gestures, your body" .

"I think of my family. Before my wife said that this was the machine that they used the boys. Now it wants to use Xbox 360 to watch TV and play with music titles." Despite the launch of a series of applications that are not dedicated to video games, it is only recently with Kinect that Microsoft has focused sharply to new categories of users.

The device stores only a few months ago, has already reached 8 million units sold worldwide.
