Nintendo announces Wii and DS records

In less than a month Returns Donkey Kong Country sold the beauty of 4.21 million copies around the world. Even Kirby's Epic Yarn, due out in late February in Europe, has built up a nice "nest egg", touching (between Japan and the U.S.) to 1.4 million copies. Meanwhile, Super Mario Galaxy 2 has exceeded the momentum of 6 million units sold since he came out last summer.

Of course no one could miss the Pokemon, that with the last two incarnations, Black and White, have delighted 30.5 million Japanese gamers, and that short-term, March 4, preparing to land in Europe. Other records were set by monstrous Wii Party (5:07), Art Academy (1.52) and the two New Super Mario Bros.

for DS and Wii, which together have reached 10 million copies sold worldwide. Some step in positioning the "family" Mario Kart, the two chapters which have accumulated the beauty of 6.8 million copies in the last 9 months. Finally, as icing on the cake we find Wii Fit Plus, came to 5.07 million units.

The only Balance Board from March to December 2010 came in 4.7 million new homes, for an incredible total of 34 million "platforms" sold all over the planet. These numbers, and many others certainly more boring, were announced by Nintendo during its umpteenth financial report.
