NVIDIA has informed the introduction of a new flagship graphics card, which is said to be named GeForce GTX 590. In aa supposedly be integrated card dual GPU GF110 with a combined total of 1,024 core CUDA and 3 GB of memory. According to rumors his name would be the GTX595, but for now have to wait a while until an official announcement.
This video card doubles the number of cores of the current CUDA GTX 580, which includes only a single GPU. The new model brings a significant leap in efficiency, with fewer tensions and a probable decrease in clock frequency. The configuration also said to be paired with a memory bus 2 x 384-bits.
The expected release date for this new card is for the month of February and will be the direct rival of the next launch and top end of AMD, the HD6990.
