[GDC 2011] Gears of War for PlayStation 3? Epic would do it willingly ...

... but the support of Microsoft so far has justified the exclusive Mike Capps, president of Epic Games, said during GDC 2011 that his team would gladly set of Gears of War on PlayStation 3, but also admitted that Microsoft has steadily been able to convince them to keep the Xbox 360 exclusive. "If we'd come before all the fans of Killzone and Resistance to say that Gears of War is fabulous? Of course you do," said Capps.

"I'd like to bring up GOW trilogy of PlayStation 3. It would be fun. I would do it, but then I would do it all." "Every time we gather to decide what to do for the next Gears of War, we sit at a table, and Microsoft provides us with really very good reasons to work with them again." "This is not just about money," he continued.

"They do an outstanding job with our projects and have a test team can make better games. So, every time we get to that point, it becomes a pleasure to work with them. We help create a better product and are able to do a good marketing on their platform, so that'll save us some money. " Capp does not, however, a possible arrival of the series on the PS3, seeing as Gears of War is a franchise of their exclusive property.
