According to PSM3 (via CVG), God of War 4 will be released in September 2012. The magazine cites an unnamed informant as a source "very close to the universe of God of War." Last month a listing of personal research, published by the team at Sony Santa Monica, had hinted something and had also assumed the inclusion of multiplayer in the new chapter in the saga.
After the release of the impressive third chapter, the development team announced that this was not the end of the franchise. "God of War does not end here, this is simply the end of a trilogy," he said at the time the boss John Hight. "Of course from now on we must move with caution. We hold one of the most famous legends of history and we are not going to ruin it or exploit it without the criterion, then throw it away."
