Net Steam Valve has announced that the first Beauty Portal has sold four million copies from the case in 2007. The figure does not include copies sold on Steam. In reality the figure should be analyzed better, because the Orange Box includes sales as a whole. One thing more interesting and would be indicative of sales of just Portal, whose stand-alone version is available since 2008.
It is also unclear if the four million copies of which include various bundled Portal has been over the years. Apart from anything else, this is an excellent result for a title created by a group of students from the DigiPen. Source: VG247
