Metroid Prime series developer and platform Donkey Kong Country Returns, Retro Studios, already working on a title for the next generation consoles from Nintendo. According to Paul Gale from The Network acknowledged that the company would be working on "a project that everyone wants Retro Studios developments." According to rumor, Nintendo Wii 2 should present at E3, some analysts think that Nintendo needs to launch the new console quickly, but there are rumors that the Wii's successor will arrive only towards the end of 2012.
According to the French portal 01. net (via Videogame Source. fr), Nintendo also is trying to convince Rockstar to develop a game for the console, presumably Grand Theft Auto V.
