A few hours after the launch of Portal 2 on Steam, Valve announced that the first Portal has sold nearly four million copies. The total, however, as reported by GameSpot, do not include copies sold in digital format on Steam. Portal debuted in 2007 in the collection The Orange Box, in 2008 the game arrives in stores as stand-alone product.
The sequel, Portal 2 is available on Steam for a few hours and will debut in stores on April 22 in PC formats, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
