It's not finished within the PlayStation magazine PSM3, reported by CVG, relies on a mysterious source who "works closely with the universe of God of War" to announce the arrival of the fourth installment of the series in 2012 . Despite the lack of absolutely any kind of official status, the existence of God of War 4 is likely, considering that the same head of Santa Monica studio, John Hight, has clearly stated that the third chapter "is not the end of God of War" although he certainly represented "the conclusion of the trilogy," the team has every intention to "continue to develop games in the series." More clues on the fourth chapter can be deduced from some jobs in Santa Monica, looking for developers for what seems a new chapter in the series, but of course expect any communication from Sony to be sure.
