EA goes for innovation

According to Activision, players hate the companies that dominate their respective market segments, but probably those who complain of the publisher of Call of Duty is particularly critical of an unwilling attitude to the new IP. Activision has never made any secret of wanting it to concentrate on only a few quality franchises.

Unlike the publisher of Call of Duty, in recent years, EA has instead opted for a different approach that includes, in addition to IP-going, the launching of several unpublished franchise. "We can not forget the new IP, new genres, new talents and new opportunities," said Stuart Lang, EA to MCV.

"I think particularly in the EA Partners division, which works with studies of great talent." "We partner with Valve for years, and Portal 2 is one of our priorities. Shadows of the Damned Mikami and Suda 51 is amazing, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is a great RPG and Alice American McGee is exceptional.

Titles enrich our portfolio, the change of EA in recent years has been profound. Besides the importance given to the business of digital, the publisher has reduced the number of titles developed each year. In fiscal year 2009 were published 67 titles, while in the current fiscal year will be 25 games to reach store shelves.
