Quarter for Xbox 360

Between January 1 and March 31, 2011, Microsoft sold 2.7 million Xbox 360, lets you know the U.S. company, in the same period of 2010 had sold 1.5 million consoles. In Q3 of the fiscal year the turnover of the Xbox 360 is increased by 69% (712 million dollars) compared to Q3 last year, for a total of 1.95 billion dollars.

Overall, Microsoft reported a 13% increase for a total of 16.43 billion dollars. In the quarter, Microsoft sold 2.4 million Kinect (10.4 million units sold since launching the device in November). "We're not going to talk about new consoles," said spokesman Bill Koefoed. "At the moment we feel the exciting performance of the Xbox 360 and no doubt those of Kinect, that the market is relatively new.

We will continue to focus on this."
