Sony Santa Monica, team responsible for multi-million dollar franchise God of War, might be working on a game diametrically opposite to the adventures that until now was the protagonist Kratos. A series of recruitment ads published by the company suggests the development of a shooter "open-world" with online elements.
The guys from California are in fact looking for a senior combat designer who has experience in the FPS and third person. Another of the open positions for a "level designer specialized in creating worlds open-world". Unless God of War 4 will not be turned into a shooter with vehicles, which we hope will not happen, these are clear signs that the team is ready to embark on an all-new design.
We await further confirmation, that perhaps will come at E3.
