MMORTS There was a new chapter in the development of Command & Conquer series, apparently, that did not convince publishers and developers so that they can be presented to the public. Command & Conquer Arena was the headline in question, a game that had been built a video presentation, but which has never heard anything so far, when the movie was published posthumously.
From what we can infer, would be a sort of digression MMO than the strategic structure of the classic series. Apparently, some of the ideas and the work carried out on the unfortunate title is then merged in the development of Command & Conquer 4. Nor is it something so unusual for the series of strategic EA, which is indeed characterized by a certain amount of aborted projects prior to arrival on the market, making this the sixth Arena between the notes canceled after 2 Tiberian Sun, Renegade 2 , Continuum, and Tiberium Tiberian Incursion.
