New week, new "victory" for Nintendo's Pokémon. For the umpteenth week, the top of the league is in fact occupied by Italian Pokémon, aided by the collapse of Mortal Kombat in seventh position, won both the first and second place in the period between April 25 and May 1. In the third and eighth respectively in their editions for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, there is FIFA 11, followed by Wii Fit Plus, Mario Party and Wii Sports Mix.
Faced with as many as 7 out of 10 positions occupied by Nintendo products, this week the company's dominance of Japan in Italy is more than evident, leaving the competition, especially Microsoft with only one position in the standings, only the crumbs of a market that seems now firmly in their hands.
