EA's developers to buy Flight Control

Developers of Flight Control and Real Racing game for two platforms iOS most popular ever, have just been hired by the giant Electronic Arts. The agreement with the Australian boys Firemint should be closed during these days, but details about it are absolutely secret ... for now. "The team Firemint is one of the most talented in the world and their games have a crazy happened," said the boss of EA Interactive, Barry Cottle.

"Having them on our side will allow us to further accelerate the expansion of EA Mobile in the world." Flight Control has sold millions of "copies" from the day of his arrival in the App Store in mid-2009, while Real Racing 2 HD, the latest effort of the team, was the first game to support 1080p resolution iPad.

Firemint is just the latest "scalp" from EA in the context of mobile developers. Previously they had been purchased Chillingo also the guys responsible for the multimillion Angry Birds and Cut the Rope.
