The French company plans to produce films and TV series based on their franchise, Ubisoft has launched a film division with the intention of producing films and TV series based on their franchise. According to information reported by Variety, Ubisoft Motion Pictures would be headed by Jean-Julien Baronnet, former CEO of EuropaCorp, a company founded by Luc Besson.
There is still no news on the projects in the pipeline, but if I remember some 'time ago the same Ubisoft carried out a poll asking gamers which series would like to see turned into a movie or a TV show. Not be a case of a debut for the French house, which for the film adaptation of Prince of Persia last year worked personally with Hollywood studios.
