Cloud saving available to subscribers PlayStation Plus

The future of bailouts? Here is Italian word for word from the PlayStation Blog: In response to increasing demands by the PS3 community, we are pleased to announce that the online storage for game saves will be available for PlayStation Plus users starting tomorrow, March 10, providing so the ability to store backups of your games and access them from any PlayStation 3 system in the world.

After downloading the Software Update 3.60 for PS3, in fact, users will enjoy Plus 150 MB and can store up to 1000 PS3 game saves. To do this, simply select the save you want to store inside the section [Saved Data Utility (PS3)], press the triangle button to open the options menu, select "Copy" and select "Online Storage" as the destination.

Conversely, you can access the list of files in online via [Saved Data Utility (PS3)] after you have logged into the PlayStation Network on PS3 from a friend and download the data of your saved games to get back to playing their from where you left off. If a game developer has decided to implement a copy protection on its bailouts, you can also copy archiving online but you must wait 24 hours after each save, before then downloading them on any PS3 system.

If your subscription lapses PlayStation Plus, you can not access the archive online as long as your subscription will not be renewed. Anyway, any saving will be archived and available for six months you can access them as if the first renewal will take place before the expiry of six months.
