LG vs. Sony Part Three: the release of the PlayStation 3

Continue the exciting adventure continues the legal battle between Sony and LG, this time with a round scored for the Japanese manufacturer, which has accepted the appeal on the block since the PlayStation 3 to the Dutch customs and the subsequent "liberation" of 300,000 consoles locked in a warehouse.

The question a long way: after a first legal attack led by Sony to LG, the latter replied a few weeks ago with a counter based on alleged infringement of various patents from Sony, especially related to the Blu-ray. LG's first move was to request in advance a block sale of PlayStation 3, to stop getting as many as 300,000 consoles for the international market in a Dutch port.

Sony has appealed the decision of the court and got the "liberation" of the console plus the right to be paid off the legal fees for a total of 130,000 euro. However, it is still completely preventive actions taken on the scope, or antecedents to the actual legal war that is prepared by both parties and will result in court.

Only then can we understand who between LG and Sony to win this war. Source: VG247
