Three indie to work on Serious Sam

The publisher devolver Digital has announced that it has entrusted the development of some projects based on the Serious Sam series of three independent developers. While Croteam is working on Serious Sam 3: BFE, studies Mommy's Best Games, Be-Rad Entertainment and Vlambeer realize three different projects belonging to the IP.

Serious Sam: Double D Mommy's Best Games (Weapon of Choice, Explosionade) will be a "side-scrolling shooter for PC and consoles. Serious Sam: Kamikaze Attack! Be-Rad Entertainment (Lame Castle) will instead be a title for smartphones in which players will lead suicide bombers to safety through a series of layers rendered impassable by the attacks of Serious Sam.

Serious Sam: The Random Encounter Vlambeer (Super Crate Box, Radical Fishing), finally, will be a turn-based role-playing game for platforms to be announced. The three games will come "in the coming months, while Serious Sam 3: BFE will arrive" in summer "on PC and console.
