Via the Xbox Live Labs, a program that will make a series of tests of the service through the console. Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb has taken to specify that the program is completely optional.
At the same time, however, said that a very large-scale participation would help the company to improve online service 360. "The results obtained will be used solely and only for improving the Xbox Live, Major Nelson has declare them on his now famous blog. Participants will still be rewarded in some way by Microsoft.
Each completed test will give an object to the Avatars and Special Achievement from scratch (?) Points. In all, there are three special items and the same goals. Unfortunately, there is also a downside: During the test you can not use the Xbox Live service to play, download and watch movies or music.
The Xbox Live Labs was launched in the U.S. today and will continue until March 27. Microsoft has not yet announced if and when the test, and its awards will be made available in Europe.
